Josh Weber teaches and helps to organize large-enrollment service courses in the department. He works mostly with the calculus-based sequence that is primarily aimed at engineers, Physics 201 and 202. Josh earned a B.A. in physics and French at Grinnell College and a Ph.D. in experimental atomic, molecular, and optical physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Before joining the department, Josh did post-doctoral work in biological imaging and magnetometry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and taught undergraduate physics at Grinnell College and at Parkland College.
