Addresses a group of fundamental physics problems that are not analytically tractable but are amenable to computational techniques. Also addresses physics data analysis and presentation techniques. The topics will be chosen from classical mechanics, relativistic dynamics, quantum theory of bound state and scattering systems, thermal physics, etc.
Prerequisites: Physics 241, 311, Math 320 or 340 or equiv. Knowledge of computer programming
