- Stand so that the screen and the lens are between you and the well lit portion of the room.
- Looking at the screen toward the lens, move the screen along the rail until you see a clear image on the screen.
What does the image on the screen look like?
ANSWER: On the screen is an upside down image of the room.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
When light off objects in the room travels through the convex lens it forms a real image where the light rays meet. This real image will appear upside down and in focus when the screen is placed in the correct location.
