US CMS will be hosting its annual meeting in Madison, Wisconsin from June 8 through 10. See the Indico site for program details.

If you are in need of child care, please send a message to Kevin Black (kblack@hep.wisc.edu) and we will try to arrange something for you.

Many in the USCMS meeting organization are choosing to wear a mask as another layer of protection against COVID-19 infection. And while we cannot require you to wear a mask, we would like to encourage you to join us in wearing a mask. Of course, this is your choice, and there will be no consequences if you choose not to, but we appreciate your consideration as it would make many of our colleagues attending the meeting feel more comfortable.

As for which mask to use, we recommend wearing n95/kn95 quality masks. We will provide some masks to those who may need it. We recommend testing regularly, especially before arrival and we will have some test kits handy, in case you need them. Do warn the local organizers in case you test positive while at the meeting, and please do not attend any more sessions from that point onwards. We also strongly recommend that all participants are fully vaccinated and upto date with the booster shots.

US CMS and the University of Wisconsin continue to closely monitor the situation with regards to COVID-19. The current expectation is that there will be no travel or in-person meeting restrictions that would interfere with the meeting. We will keep the community informed if conditions change.

We encourage collaborators to register for the meeting and make hotel reservations (which can be canceled).
